Pursuing a Timeless Spiritual Legacy

As we age, it's natural for our priorities and values to shift. In the past, I set grand visions and chased big goals. Now, I find it more crucial to focus on the present and engage in meaningful work.

Writing biblical commentaries and theological books has been the cornerstone of my life. I'm still deeply committed to this work, and I'm profoundly grateful that some of my writings are already out in the world, being read by many. This isn't just a personal achievement; I believe it's a precious legacy, passing spiritual wisdom and insight to future generations.

Of course, there are times when I feel the limitations of age. When thoughts like "It might be too late" cross my mind, my heart grows heavy. But I quickly shake off such notions. Age is just a number, and I believe our passion and wisdom can transcend it.

The Bible dictionary and commentary work I'm currently engaged in are vital tasks I hope to complete in my remaining years. Even if I can't finish everything, I'm determined to achieve as much as possible, giving it my all. These projects are the fruit of a lifetime of research and contemplation, and I hope they'll provide spiritual nourishment to many.

Growing older is no reason to abandon our dreams. In fact, this could be the perfect time for deeper work, drawing on accumulated experience and wisdom. If I have a final wish or vision before leaving this world, it's to advance these projects as much as I can.

Even if I can't complete everything, I hope the path I've walked will inspire the next generation of theologians and believers. Our lives may be finite, but the legacy of knowledge and wisdom we leave behind can be eternal. That's the precious vision I want to hold onto until the end.

Throughout this journey, I strive to remain present while not losing hope for the future. I believe that each day's work will eventually bear great fruit, so I pick up my pen again today. Though I've aged, the passion in my soul is still youthful. I want to fill my remaining days meaningfully with this fervor.
