As I reflect on the long journey of my life, I find myself pondering deeply about the moments of achievement and their significance. In my younger years, I was solely focused on reaching my goals, but as time passed, it became clear to me who I truly wanted to share these precious moments with.
During my extended time abroad, studying and working, I set and achieved numerous objectives. Initially, I didn't give much thought to who I'd share these joys with. I was more fixated on the accomplishments themselves.
Now, as I enter the twilight of my life and look back, I realize that the people I wanted by my side during all those moments were none other than my family. Despite the physical distance, their mere existence was enough. They were always there, sharing in my successes and failures.
Although we were geographically apart, my heart was always with my family. Their presence alone was sufficient comfort and strength for me. In retrospect, I believe they were the ones who could most fully understand and empathize with everything I strived for and all the emotions I experienced along the way.
Throughout life, I've met and parted ways with many people, but in the end, it's family that remains. The time spent with them, the joys and sorrows we've shared, have become the most precious moments of our lives. I've only now come to truly appreciate this fact.
Having people close by with whom you want to share life's great achievements and small joys - isn't that the greatest blessing in our lives? As time passed, I came to understand this ordinary yet profound truth. In moments of success, it was family who were the most precious people to share that joy with.
